Yes, you read that right. The Liberal Democrats are now so right wing and desperate to stay in power that a few months ago, they suspended me from the party because I dared to criticise Nick Clegg.

Why I have resigned from the Liberal Democrats
I’ve been a Liberal Democrat for more years than I can remember now but today was the straw that broke the camels back as far as I am concerned. Although events nationally have deeply troubled me and my disdain for Nick Clegg has grown, I have stuck with the party because of the sheer pleasure i have gotten out of working for local people in the ward of Knaphill.
Last year I stood for election in the ward and despite being a first time candidate polled over 1000 votes – an impressive result for someone on their first time out. This year I stood again in the same ward when the incumbent councillor decided to stand down. It’s a bit meh out there right now. The weather is rubbish, I am looking a biblical flood outside my window that has trapped me in Spidey Towers for the 3rd day running and I am starting to lose my mind.

I, like most people in the UK this morning and am really rather annoyed with Theresa May for not having the basic mental capacity to get her dates right. By now Abu Qatada should be on a plane bound for Jordan where he is going to be tried for his alleged part in bomb plots on Jordanians and conspiracy to carry out terror attacks.
This is the same Abu Qatada who has preached hate in this country almost from the very first moment he was able to open his mouth as a preacher and who was said to be Mohammed Atta, one of the ringleaders of the 9/11 attacks, spiritual leader. In short the man is an individual who has no respect for human life as it is lived in the UK and who has no respect for this country and its laws, let alone its people. Continue reading

Excuse me writing to you out of the blue but you probably wont bother reading this anyway. You see people like me only figure right down at the bottom of your radar. You don’t care that people like me even exist all really do you?. You do however, keep saying that ‘we are all in this together’. Well I can tell you now, thats garbage.
You see, I lost my job yesterday. It’s a job I love very much and have been doing for quite a while now. But because you decided that disabled people don’t need support or care, or that at the very least you should help pay for it, my job has to go so that my charity can make sure we keep helping people. Yes thats right. I work for a disability charity working to improve life for people for whom life is tough enough. You just made it harder. In doing so you also left me in and my life in a total mess.
